Pros

Spent 10 years there doing guest service and pouring beer, then moved to security. There's a little room to move up. You work with good people for the most part. Everyone in all departments is pretty friendly, there's a lot of people who have been here a long time and everyone knows everyone. It's a pretty great part time job. Full time isn't as fun. Benefits for full time people are great: PTO, sick leave, good and affordable medical/vision/dental insurance, season tickets, opportunities to buy tickets to concerts and events before they go on sale to the public. Get paid to see games and concerts. Only benefits for part time employees is 401K. It is a union building, there are a few benefits with the union.

Cons

Unless you're full time, the work isn't consistent through the year but it's busy from October to about April. Summers are rough, not many events. Upper-upper management (GM/CEO) doesn't care about their people. They don't look at you, barely speak to "underlings". Have no real idea of what's going on, they just walk around and look important. They wouldn't know how to deal with an angry guest. Pay isn't great but does pay better than minimum wage in most positions. There's room to move up but if you're looking to be more than a manager they tend to hire from outside the company, which is sad. They lose a lot of good people because they don't allow them to move up to their full potential, so those people end up going to to other buildings and teams. If you're full time you will be expected to put in some long hours during tournaments and events that last several days. It's not unusual to put in 80 hours in a week especially if you're salary.

Pros

I loved how this company cared for their employees and it was like a little family. I hate to see that they had to close their doors.

Cons

One of the unfortunate sides was the company closing their doors
