The base salary is relatively low but good commission is there for the taking. It's up to you. Whilst the first 12 mths can be challenging, as you build your client base, strong sales skills, and perhaps some financial backing, will help you through the early days.
It's not an easy role, but would you really want easy?
There are challenging times to get through, to reach your potential and forecasts so it takes persistence and endurance, that will not suit everybody.
The sales role doesn't suit those who are uncomfortable speaking with all levels of management or who lack confidence in oral and written skills but good communicators, who love 'talking the talk' will thrive.
Whilst strong teamwork exists, you need to also be able to work independently, be self-motivating and just get on with it.
Don't take a prospect's rejection personally as some are open to assistance and others are not...move on from a 'no' to the next 'yes'!
