Pros
Depending on the store, there can be some nice people. I have worked for a different store and the staff were significantly more professional.
Cons
Where I was, I felt constantly drained by the attitudes of both the managers and the usual customers. My manager couldn't fire me so his plan was to just make my life a living hell until I quit. There was a huge misogynistic/ adolescent culture which lead to three new employees promptly quitting. I reported that I wasn't happy about the rape jokes being told by management and was told to 'suck it up' but that they'd try and 'tone it down when I'm around'. I felt this further tainted the 'family' atmosphere being sold by the company- to add to it, they played 'We can be Heroes' on their motivation booster video they played to all employees. Reeking of inauthenticity. I was trying to progress my career within the company, but was told by my manager that I couldn't take my learning sheets home, but also couldn't learn skills during my work, which essentially meant I had 45 minutes a day during my 'breaks' to work on it.
