Pros

The clinic I was at (i.e. the contracting client) was full of lovely people who I really enjoyed working with. The doctors were great and I learned so much.

Cons

If you're thinking about applying for this job, I'd advise keeping your previous one for at least the first two months. Because, as I found out, you are entirely disposable to SA, especially if you dare to not be absolutely perfect from day one. I was hired on, passed the entrance exam, and passed my initial floor training. I had been on the floor solo LESS THAN ONE MONTH when a few minor issues with my performance came up and they put me on a PIP and threatened to fire me. Instead of bringing these issues to my attention and asking me to fix them (which I could have done so easily it's laughable) or giving a verbal warning, or... any sort of intervention at all, they went straight to threatening to fire me. At first, I thought it was just my manager not knowing how to do her job, but a discussion with her led me to realize this mindset of "be perfect right away or get out" is endemic to ScribeAmerica. As someone who wanted to step into a training role in the future, but had no desire to enforce that sort of belief, I ran, fast. Oh, and as for hours? 1. The "20-30 hours of paid training" they say you'll get? It's more like 8 hrs of them reading you PowerPoints, and then you spending two weeks teaching yourself while not getting paid. Enjoy that. 2. I signed on for full time, was promised 40hrs/week. I made that number 1 week in my time there. And after seeing my schedule for the next month before I quit, I knew wouldn't have after that either.
