Pros

The CS was amazing and kind. The interview process was fun and casual.

Cons

Was hired, had my training postponed every few weeks for over a month, then the day before training was notified that the contract was no longer valid with the hospital and that I no longer had a job. So far, there was only a termination contract with no hopes of relocation after all we've have been through. You expect a large organization such as this to care for its employees and help find them work at another site. This is a disappointing company that I was extremely excited to work for. I hope they make changes soon and realize how valuable their employees are.

ScribeAmerica Response
11y
In a client-services industry such as the medical scribe industry, there are very rare instances of reduction in force measures or contract service reductions based on the needs and desires of the client. Nonetheless, ScribeAmerica works diligently to retain all clients and contracts, and attempts to ensure that its employees have regular and sufficient work. ScribeAmerica strives to place any displaced employees at any other available locations within the company, but unfortunately that is not always possible. When there are any reduction in force measures, our managers always keep in regular contact with outgoing employees and attempt to place them in other locations based on the employee's geographic preferences.

Good clinical experience for those who are taking a gap year or preparing for medical school.

Cons

The onboarding and training process is going to take about 2 to 3 months for some locations.
