Pros
It’s a remote position so you’re at home.
Cons
OVERWORKING AND BEING UNDERPAID. I was hired on with the notion that the starting pay was 10.00 and there was room for growth… what they don’t tell you is even when you get a pay raise it’s only applicable when you’re actively training someone and even then it barely shows on your paystub. There is no downtime in between appointments you’re scribing for and you end up spending your whole day glued to your computer. Too much work for 10.00. You’re spending the 30 minutes before your shift begins pre charting and even by then you’re unable to finish pre charting because it’s sooo much work. It’s just not a good company. It’s a huge let down because the training is soooo extensive and as many hoops as you have to jump through to even begin solo scribing it’s just not worth it. They pay you 12 for training and I had more downtime training vs the actual job pay grade of 10.00 hourly.
