Pros

Relaxing atmosphere, Co-workers tend to be pretty easy to get along with. Clean Office

Cons

- Awful Pay - No Raises - Advancement chances are based on how buddy buddy you are with management and not aptitude. - Nepotism - Cronyism - They hire large groups of people to get Government grants and then expect most of them to quit or lay them off.

Pros

Its a very easy workplace. The management doesn't ride you to get numbers. Just trying is good enough. The numbers don't look like they get tracked to begin with. 80% of your co-workers will be friendly and joke around but the other 20% are more just shy and not gossipy so there isn't anyone bad. There are generally free snacks at some point in the week. A lot of people just drop things to share on the kitchen table like candy from the discount store. If things go into crunch mode management will start doing little things like providing meals to keep the stress down. Its pizza mostly and sometimes its sushi or burgers from a takeout place. It feels a lot like doing group projects in college at times but the other people in the group actually try and help.

Cons

Its a coin flip if the company will promote someone from in the company or hire someone from outside to fill a senior role it seems like. Raises are more about the company revenue then your performance. They don't really keep track of your good results to begin with. Its a lot like doing group projects in college where everyone helps but your never going to get grades or anything for it.

Pros

The employees were nice and fun to work with and hang out with

Cons

You could only get promoted if you were a buddy with the management AND weren't skilled enough to make the guy in charge look bad. Getting feedback was like pulling hens teeth. The pay was bad and after several years most full time employees were still making minimum wage with no hope of a raise despite quality work.
