Pros

You’ll be drawn to this organization by many different signals of success: rocketship, earn the best life for your family, achieve your dreams, opportunity of a lifetime, hyperscaling etc. Some of these things may be true (some people even in multilevel marketing orgs still make it big). I didn’t find any of them to be true for myself or my former colleagues at this employer. Pros in favor of this employer: - There’s a need for this product but it’s not nearly as good as at least a handful of competitors - ARR grew steadily throughout my year-long tenure here. - This team has mastered the hard close. If you want a place to work where you can learn and see hard closing in action all day everyday (on both prospective customers and employees) this is the place for you. Seamless.AI runs a two-move playbook: hard close, discount, hard close again (is that three moves?). - You’re given many tools to work with to sell: Outreach, LinkedIn Premium and Sales Navigator, a dialer for making calls, Salesforce, etc. - Insurance isn’t the worst I’ve seen. It’s ok. - If you crave a constant culture of hard-closing sales bros, dominating prospects, and high-octane high-volume SaaS sales, you may like this place. The review title says there’s a facade of success: it’s true. This organization maintains an outward appearance that conceals a less pleasant and less creditable reality.

Cons

My opinion is obviously negative so take everything I say with a grain of salt and do your own research. I found nearly all the reasons to work for this employer that were pitched to me during the interview process to be half-truths or not-truths. - There isn’t a seven-figure sales system (it’s a PDF of spammy scripts to hard-close prospects). - The team culture is largely a farce (when you get going you’ll see everyone is really and actually only in it for themselves). - Compensation potential / OTE / commission etc isn’t as baller as you may have heard. In fact, comp changes regularly. It changed substantively three times in the year I worked for this organization. All changes hit without warning, with no transition plan, and had largely disrupting affects on the company. - Conflicts of interest are everywhere including, especially, in the management of the organization; conflicts of interest that include family members. - The business model is broken. Research shows that the SDR—> AE sales model for SaaS orgs works at ACV greater than $4k++ (and even that’s stretching it). However, ACV in this organization is less than $2k which means that the company’s revenue model is inherently unstable. You can see this everywhere especially clear in the primary closing tactic: discount price and one-call-close on demos. - This dearth of management maturity can be felt at every level of the organization and it hurts customers constantly. Those are some pretty strong opinions and words. I know. Investigate for yourself. Buyer (prospective-employee) beware.
The review title says the leadership is capricious. They are given to sudden and unaccountable changes of mood and behavior. They’re great until you get on the wrong side (and who knows how that happens?) and then all bets are off. Give yourself a chance look for work (or sales leads) elsewhere.

Pros

- can be a fun work environment with good peers that are other sdrs - learned how to talk on phone

Cons

- stresssful work environment - fires all of their sdrs or lays them off - terrible higher management above the SDR managers - terrible data and expects sdrs to figure it out - gives no help above upper management - ceo and upper management post “don’t lay off employees that don’t produce, the churn and burn doesn’t work” yet THEY CHURN AND BURN. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company. - constant stress about getting fired the next month - a lot of threats about getting fired
