Pros

Great company culture. Truly a work hard, play hard environment. Located in the heart of Manhattan's Chelsea (Silicon Alley) neighborhood, SeamlessGov is a government innovation start up which that has changed the current forms (PDF dominated) process and introduced a cloud based platform which offers form conversion technology. At SeamlessDocs team culture is everything. Every employee at SeamlesssDocs has the mentality that every account is a team effort helping the company grow. Company events and during/after work socializing its a requirement of the job. Bring you best to the table and you will be rewarded. Creative thinking is required of every employee everyday. A single position doesn't have direct boundaries so you have the opportunity to wear a lot of hats within a small company. No dress code with the exception of company themed days i.e. suit up Thursday. Great people, interesting work, awesome location, happy environment, ping pong table, putting green, and reasonable hours!

Cons

No 401K/benefits at this point because of company size.

Pros

The true meaning of start-up culture: a work family that you'll soon not forget.

Cons

Getting acquired by a larger company that was dense and unable to adapt beyond its antiquated business practices.

Pros

Worked at SD for a while and ended up leaving for a better offer due to lacking compensation + Free breakfast + Young and friendly co-workers + Nice (Soho) office + Innovative environment + Fun culture (expect to take a lot of shots) + Upper management will fund continuing education if you bring forward potential classes or events + Reasonable hours + Exposure to start-up culture and Saas products + Hard work and results are acknowledged by SVP & Accounts + If you prove yourself you will be given a shot to have more autonomy and (solely) a title increase

Cons

+ Upper management is not transparent whatsoever about large company decisions + Questionable spending of company funds (Kegorator?) rather than bonuses + At times, it can feel like your intentionally being bribed with booze to cover up the reality of lacking compensation and benefits + No equity for non-dev/engineering + No HR or vacation policy + High turnover + Antiquated understanding of company loyalty
