Pros
You will meet some really smart and dedicated people. Everyone truly cares for each other and tries to help. Also, The company does a decent job of making employees feel connected and involved. Company on sites are annual but always informative and fun. Swag is pretty cool too.
Cons
There are some serious middle management issues. C-Suite has not changed very much. But there is constant change in middle management, causing constant change in employees. People disappear with no real explanation, other than potentially not meshing with the new manager’s personality. Because of this, I believe some really good employees lost jobs for petty reasons. There is also a general sense of disconnect and disorganization interdepartmentally. The left hand doesn’t want the right hand to know what it’s doing. It can make it difficult to get anything of substance done. The company is quick to announce triumphs but doesn’t acknowledge failures in implementation. And there is a constant sense of dread, with all of this going on, that today could be your last day.
