I am listing out the facts that I had experienced during my tenure at SecureLayer7.
1. Worst project management ever, one employee will have walk-through of project, somebody else will do the testing and third person will do the reporting, no co-ordination at all.
2. HR creates and changes their own policies according to their will without even letting the employees know.
3. Offer letter is like just a piece of paper for them, no value. Different clauses mentioned in offer letter have got no value for HR. They will break their own contract given in offer letter under any random reason just to torture an employee on notice period.
4. Worst of all is the notice period. Even if 3 months notice period is mentioned on offer letter very clearly, they will simply deny relieving you after completion of 3 months, citing reasons like client commitment etc. High amount of torture is experienced by almost every employee who puts down papers, no matter how much tenure the employee had served within the organization.
5. When they send you on client side, you will have to use your own money for all the expenses incurred at client site (which happens in most of the companies and is okay). After coming back to base location, you have to beg for your own money for even more duration than your onsite duration. No proper policy exists for reimbursement of the money spent by you on client side projects and it takes months before your own money comes back to your account.
6. Reporting of projects is carried out in a very unprofessional manner. Management will pressurize you for creation of report in a limited time and will send the report to client after one month of delay. Don't know about logic behind these fake timelines forced on the team members.
7. Working hours are not at all flexible. Height of hypocrisy is: If you are late for 10 mins, HR will send emails to you regarding the late mark, but they themselves come late to office almost everyday.
8. Traveling to client side is often at a very short notice, that too with only verbal communication. They will tell you physically or on call the day before, that tomorrow you have to go to client side. This is done without providing any form of explanation, duration or any specific details regarding travel/accommodation/expenses etc.
9. Salary is never on time. It will happen not before but always after specified date and that date changes every month at the will of the HR.
10. CTO is neutral about employees, but the Management and HR have imbibed bad culture in this organization.
To summarize, I would recommend not to join this organization if you have better offers in hand.
