Pros
Room for advancement if you start in an entry level position. Ergonomic work stations with modifications by request,
Cons
Insanely large workload for salaried staff due to high turnover and management requiring those they supervise to do their work. Poor training. Salaried staff are required to get their work done, no matter what. Some employees pick their kids up from daycare after putting in extra time and bring their kids back to work with them while they finish completing their work due to threats of being written up if they don't get their work done. Even after putting in extra time consistently, if you need time off in an emergency situation and your situation is not covered by FMLA, you will get an occurrence. Raises are pathetically low, averaging 2% Work load keeps piling on No recognition for putting in extra time, not even a thank you. Instead they'll give you more work. High turnover. It's been years since they've been fully staffed with trained staff in the STD department. Micromanaging, even when functioning with a skeleton crew....and it's not even a full skeleton.
