Pros

Generous PTO you can use before you accur it. Two days off at Thanksgiving. Committees to job, leadership opportunities.

Cons

Poor Leadership!! 4 weeks of training is condensed to 4 days, each group of new hires after me, had more training. Then just thrown out to the wolves. Many demands/deadlines to meet and micromanaged!! Before I finished learned how to do my position, Covid hit. Then had to learn all the temporary processes. Too much for anyone all at once!! Roller coaster emotions and VERY high stress position. Needless to say, SEDGWICK cares more about their CLIENTS than their own employees. This lead to performance issues and got me my job. FOUR years at the company & instead of working with me and re training me or lessening my case load, I was left to figure it out. Four mentors later (all promoted), and having to learn each of their ways - I basically was expected to put in the time to get unmanageable case load catch up. Case load 284. Work is not evened out and no one wanted to help. I never learned enough to have my 'routine'. Worst part, you're expected to learn the job in 6 months. Buying York, Careworks has made Sedgwick worse. Save yourself a headache and pass up the company. Not provided an exit interview.

Pros

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Cons

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
