Pros

It is difficult for me to read some of the recent reviews on here because I do not feel they are helpful to folks who use this website to genuinely get a feel for a company before they apply or accept an offer. Of course every place in which you will work throughout your life is what you make of it! Seer is one of those unique and special places. The company as a whole fosters independence and encourages growth in every employee. It wants everyone to learn and allows access to programs of all kinds to help people do their jobs the best way they can. The company encourages innovation and supports all of its employees in all of their endeavors and wants everyone succeed! It's an honest place with a real heart. Management (a.k.a The Leadership Team) is ALWAYS present for everyone at every level. If you need to talk, if you have questions about your career, worried you aren't doing enough or too much, and about how you can grow in the company, the CEO himself will take you for coffee - for real! And he genuinely cares for people - all people, past and present employees. The HR ladies are fantastic and treat every candidate like a friend. They listen and do their best to keep the culture alive. This is NOT common to be honest among other companies in which I have worked. The company has wonderful resources, access to new Google betas and other engines, a nice mix of clients so you will gain exposure across the board whether it be Finance, Healthcare, eCommerce and more. The teams themselves are the best. The PPC Team especially runs like a machine in which everyone has value. It also has some of the best young managers I have ever worked with in my life - and I have been around the block a time or two. PTO, Work From Home Days, all legitimate. Seer does trust its employees - but, in all companies with flexibility such as this, it is something the employee must not abuse because it is such a tight team - you wouldn't want to dump all your work on your teammates would ya?

Cons

I wouldn't call these cons per se, but the company is small and growing and still learning about themselves and how to expand into other areas of Digital Marketing responsibly. They do SEO, PPC and now Analytics very well - and starting to expand into other areas. Again, not a con but if you don't have an innovative, curious spirit by nature, it may be a bit of a challenge for you as young companies often have to pivot and you need to go with the flow.

Seer Interactive Response

Usually I can figure out who folks are, this time I got no idea. It means a lot to hear you refer to Seer as a special place. I think I've been there so long that sometimes I forget about the great things we're doing. I know you have a ton of other things you could have done with the 20 minutes or so you spent to write this. THANK YOU for that. As for the advice you gave, thanks. It's great to see people valuing the hard work Emily and her team are putting in to the survey. I'm always cognizant of if we ask people for their opinions that we should try to do something with it, its good to hear that we're doing an OK job at that. Your feedback on regular check ins, might be going on in the back end w/ TLs - I think using small improvements is one way we can put the info in more regularly, I know I now have a weekly time slot to do just that. Thank you again, its much much appreciated.

Pros

Seer is made for a very specific type of person: Smart, caring, organized, and collaborative. If you fit here, you REALLY fit. I will admit, the negative reviews had me a bit apprehensive, but I cannot emphasize this enough: You don’t know you’ll like or dislike something unless you give it a chance. And, you should give Seer a chance. You might just learn something incredible. Because of this, I’m over the moon I chose Seer. - exceptional benefits / pay / bonus structure connected to incentivized engagement - brilliant people who care and want to help - unlimited PTO that you’re encouraged to use - Office politics and all that other stuff is not tolerated; the company has some of the best culture I’ve been a part of in a long time - the work can be difficult, but only for short bursts, most of the time it is (75% of the month) straightforward work and innovation. One week will be hectic and then it’s smooth sailing. A very good balance. I used to be overworked every single day. Not here. Managers are here to support you. First company I’ve been at in over a decade where this is the case.

Cons

None at this time! I would say the first 90 days is a learning curve, then it gets exponentially easier. And, everyone answers your questions in the blink of an eye.
