Salary and benefits are okay, work environment is toxic - Therapy Aide Select Rehabilitation Employee Review

Pros

Flexibility with schedules esp if you are a college student. Salary is a little better compared to other places for therapy aide. Steady work throughout the day, 3-4 shifts available per week usually

Cons

Work environment was too toxic and upsetting. The therapy department and therapists are very set in their ways. Place as a whole is very toxic. People can be racist, sexist and xenophobic. Lots of preferential treatment, especially towards men. Just keep to yourself.

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
