Pros

Wonderful rehab team! Skilled, compassionate, and dedicated therapists. Immediate management wonderful, cares about employees. Very approachable and available to staff.

Cons

We HAD a wonderful department. OT for almost 25yrs. best company I'd ever worked for. Great benefits......until Select Rehab took over therapy dept. They lied to us telling us how great this take over would be. "Don't worry, everything will stay the same." They said. In the blink of an eye they destroyed our department. They stripped us of ALL our benefits, Continuing Ed reimbursement, continuing Ed PTO days, sick time, personal days, holidays( no more time and a half pay), 401k match. Health insurance is awful!!! 9 full time therapist per discipline and only one can take a day off at a time( even on holidays!!!!!) They sched 8 hrs of treatment time and MAKE us leave in 7 hrs. Requiring us to treat and transport our own patients, write progress notes, recerts and co sign assistants notes while maintaining 92% productivity.REALLY???!!!!! To top it all off, when you resign giving the required 4 weeks notice, you forfeit any and all accrued PTO time. DESPICABLE! GREEDY!!!! UNETHICAL!!!!!!

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
