Pros

DOR really tried their best to do what is best for the patients. Could get advice from them most of the time for best patient care.

Cons

Not able to take PTO for sick or vacation days without major pushback and guilt because "there's not enough PRN coverage". Next job I interviewed at a SNF had NO problem with covering multiple vacations with adequate PRN help, which really opened up my eyes that not all places are like that. Forced to work in overtime and work in different buildings. Of course, every building is different, but was very stressful. Loved the rehab team, but in the end didn't make it worth the stress. Major politics with regional manager unfortunately.

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
