Pros

Monthly lunches are a plus. Certain departments were very pleasant to work with, such as Marketing/content, EComm, UX/UI, Product Dev, Merch.

Cons

To start off, the company claims to be hybrid. However, the first 30 days required in-office attendance (not communicated until the first day). Throughout my time, the requirement to come into the office ranged from once or twice a month, in addition to the three required days. So if you are open to last-minute demands to be in office, this could be for you. Secondly, communication is a HUGE issue. It would often feel like no one in management roles we’re communicating, which caused lack of direction on initiatives and last-minute changes to major projects. Changes to meetings and the lack of respect for your time were also huge issues. The demand to be in office seemed to only be required for the ground workers, but not the CEO or select upper management. Lastly, direction of initiatives/how to grow is so muddied with lack of consistent ideation. One week, the goal could be X, by Wednesday it could be Y, and Saturday morning it’s Z. The “pivoting” of direction caused the inability to see positive results. And because of this swinging door of opinions and direction, upper management questioned the lack of improvements. Morale definitely felt like it was at an all-time low, which makes it nearly impossible to feel the comradery.

Pros

Not many good things to say about this place. Management acts like your best friend until you're committed to the job, that's when they show their true colors and lift the mask.

Cons

From the start this place was god awful. Multiple people fired for sexual harassment my first week there. Letting go of 30% of the company before Christmas, promise advancements if you do extra work that never happens, super stingy about when you can use PTO, the former CEO told us in a COMPANY WIDE email that he feels for us "common folk". That's not even scratching the surface such as major pay discrepancies between employees of the same job title, things changing on the dime, being told one thing and being lied to the next very second. Company only views you as a number hence why they outsourced multiple of these jobs to places like India and Philippines, theres zero job security here. Emergencies? They don't care. Your aunt, uncle, or unborn child dies? Doesn't qualify for bereavement. Pets die? Figure it out when you're off the clock. The corporate muzzle this company shoves down your throat is tyrannical and inhumane. You'll find more people with morals and humanity in a morgue.
