Pros

It used to be a good job with fair compensation, good managers and decent leadership at the top. Not anymore. If Jim Collins were to write a book about SelectQuote, it would be titled "Good to Not Great." 1. Training (but only in the Ted Steinmeyer days) 2. IT Support 3. Equipment 4. Work from Home

Cons

1. Relentless manager pressure and supervision of every move you make. 2. Ridiculous sales expectations (if you are an ethical salesperson). 3. Awful, deceptive and unethical advertising. (Joe Namath, Jimmy Walker, George Foreman, Facebook) 4. Predatory targeting of low-income and low-intelligence customers. 5. Compensation went from "pretty decent" to "very unfair." 6. Compliance expectations and having to navigate an unreasonable Rube Goldberg machine in order to not get dinged and lose money. (The whole compliance process feels like being stolen from by the company.) 7. Having to sell ancillary product transfers like someone selling jewelry out of a trenchcoat. "Oh, you're not interested in Medicare Insurance? How about one of these shiny gold 'Roluxe' watches?"
