      Pros

      Semrush has a cozy and friendly atmosphere rooted in its culture, and is all about people. I would genuinely love to work with most of my colleagues again in the future. Semrush had kept its horizontal structure, and distinct transparent and innovative culture long after growing out of a startup. Proud to be part of the team that has built so many cool products.

      Cons

      The fast-paced environment from the "Pros" above went hand in hand with chaotic processes. As a solution, layers of middle/senior management were added. This isolated communication in vertical management silos, and blocked career opportunities for long-term employees. I know too many people who quit because of that. I would recommend Semrush as a great place to work, if not for the uncertainty of an upcoming acquisition.

      Pros

      Great people. You would make lots of good friends. The best part is to make lots of great connections inside and outside of work

      Cons

      Upper doesn't have an idea of what direction to follow to achieve long-term goals. The sales and CS organisation goes through changes every 2 quarters and would blame employees not to achive goals and targets.
