Pros

Great Product and recognition in the market. Top-level support

Cons

The sales team is a target of constant experiments from management on how to squeeze more money while providing less and less resources. A recent example being the deprivation of new leads/registrations and focus on your book of business, which is completely unfair as everyone has a totally different number of signed clients, therefore your opportunities here in the sales dept are massively limited. It used to be a much better team, but it has degenerated into something horrible.

Dear Sender, Thank you for the feedback. Our company is constantly running all types of experiments—we change work models, reports, forms. The Sales Team is not an exception. Constant change is a significant part of our culture, and we understand it might not be suitable for everyone. That’s why we always take negative feedback constructively. Apart from constant changes, we strive for efficiency, and good work will always pay well. The commission rate is quite high—we constantly check the market’s expectations, and make sure that we pay according to that. We are truly sorry that you had a negative experience with us, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Yours, Semrush Team

There's a lot to learn, which isn't a con - but something good to know.

Pros

The product is an industry leader, making it exciting to work on. The teams are filled with incredibly smart, creative, and collaborative people. Benefits and remote flexibility are solid, and there are good opportunities to learn SEO and digital marketing deeply.

Cons

The work culture can occasionally lean toward working harder than playing hard especially as the company scales.
