Pros

The pros are the amazing people that have left that place after bring treated with the same poor professionalism as others before.

Cons

They rinse and repeat people not based off "poor" hires, or over compensation but rather poor leaderships and long historical pattern of not paying people or vendors. They have employees leaving positive reviews to offset all the employees hurt in their wake. Management is poor and lacks decisions that have integrity and truth behind them. We as employees have such a fear of retailation.

Pros

Wonderful working environment. Leadership is great, the product is slick, and the team is supportive of and excited about the overall mission!

Cons

Fully remote, wish we could all work together in person.

Pros

It’s tough to list any true pros without honesty feeling compromised. While the initial vision of the company may have sounded promising, the follow-through and execution have consistently fallen short. Any potential benefits are quickly overshadowed by financial instability, lack of accountability, and broken promises.

Cons

Serious Warning to Potential Vendors, Employees, and Clients of Semy If you're considering working with or for Semy, take this as a cautionary tale. This company has a repeated track record of not paying vendors, employees, or contractors—leaving others to cover expenses out of pocket with no reimbursement and no resolution. Despite continuous promises, leadership fails to follow through. They will string you along with false assurances, all while knowing they can’t pay what’s owed. It’s a manipulative cycle designed to buy time, not to make things right. To make matters worse, the technology doesn’t work as promised—because the vendors responsible for building and maintaining it were never paid. The product is unstable, incomplete, and lacks the support needed to function properly. Semy has been unable to secure reliable funding, and its leadership refuses to take real responsibility for the damage they cause. If you value your time, your reputation, and your paycheck—steer clear.
