None paid holidays. We need longer lunch breaks or stop charging us for breaks and lunch breaks.

Flexibility is the main benefit - can coordinate with private practice by working either 2 or 4 days per week. Serving people who don't have easy access to psychologists. Inspiring work.

Salary is medium and there is no health insurance and very little paid vacation. Some nursing homes are less supportive than others of MH services. Little room for salary increase. No privacy in nursing homes for counseling, or hard to find.
