Pros
Good Benefits Package, including full health benefits for HMO, 4% matching 401k, paid vacation and medical leave. Many talented employees.
Cons
Company has three grant funded programs, each are poorly managed and dwindling in funding. There is no leadership within the organization. For personal gain, the ED buys his way on boards that have nothing to do with low income seniors. He rules with iron fists and has no vision or leadership qualities. He has no experience running organizations and only has a HS education. He hides behind his management team like a coward. Mid and upper management are puppets and manage in the same style as the ED, in a very dogmatic, controlling, surreptitious and authoritarian manner. There is little trust given to employees. There is no strategic plan or direction for the organization. The organization has reached its capacity with the current leadership, the board is non-existent and any potential or opportunities for growth are quickly dismissed my the ED. There are no opportunities for growth.
