Pros
Although a very "formal" environment, everybody is open, friendly and extremely professional. Every person employed by Sensient Colors seems to be an expert in their chosen profession from chemist to account manager. Communication seems to flow freely both up and down the chain...everybody knows exactly how the company is doing and which divisions are performing best....I found this to be refreshing.
Cons
I really don't know if it can be considered a con but I have seen it posted here regarding Sensient: In terms of culture, Sensient truly does expect the best out of its employees and does not accept "half-measures" or those not willing to give 100%. I guess it can be said best by saying that Sensient does not expect a contribution, it expects a commitment. Once you understand that and know that you must adapt to Sensient (Sensient will not adapt to you), you can have a stellar, highly rewarding career.
