Pros

Initially had management to work with not only on guiding my work on betterment of communication skills and being concise in my presentation skills. A good managed services provider to break into new software, new IT techniques and working on independent projects. Employees are encouraged and paid for to engage in certifications and trainings needed to work on tougher tasks or projects.

Cons

Recent changes have led the company to go from software and process agnostic to becoming guided on the need to grow revenue via reselling software, causing our scope of support to shrink over time. New management has deemed it to be more prudent for the company to maximize client portfolio size and volume over quality of engagements with customers or scope of support - if the client isn't Google Workspace oriented, generally the client had worse experience.

Pros

- Company is remote. If you like working from home or don't enjoy an office, this is a good option. - They will bend over backward to make sure you have the required tools to be successful. This includes any user accounts, services, and even hardware/equipment, paid on the company dime. - Managers are very quick to provide feedback for your performance and offer steps to either improve or continue your company/industry progression. - Company want to help you out in obtaining any required certifications to progress in the IT industry. - Reviews are yearly, they will promote from within for hard work. - Pay and benefits are above par for industry averages. Yearly bumps due to inflation. - Company seems to want employees for the long haul and will invest to make sure you're around as a result.

Cons

- Your work is tracked in 15-minute increments due to how the company bills its clients. This is the company's main method of KPI, so take that as you wish. - Company doesn't hold many all-hands or stand-ups, so oftentimes you may not know exactly what each department is up to, or what the company is up to all the time. To counter that, they are a heavy user of Slack to make major announcements.

Pros

Some of the people this company has, truly care. They truly want the best for everyone. The CEO is an amazing person and so is MOST of the management team. Learning skills on the job, while a requirement in this field, will also help with getting certificates.

Cons

After the acquisition of the company, there has been non stop bumps in the road. The HR also seems to handle a lot of the finances. This is so conflicting and has caused so many question marks in my head when decisions are made. The pay raises went from eye wateringly amazing, to almost nothing at all. It has become clear that the company is trying to squeeze every cent out of every person and client. They also are conflicting non stop. I have been told one thing by one part of management, then told another thing and scolded at for doing what you word told from another part of management.
