Near Train station Westfield food court

IT security doesn't have a team, only other IT security person was the manager, who does not know what he was doing. Old and cranky no good to hold the job. Blaming and complaining, incompetent and don't want to set his subordinate to succeed. Keep pilling up things on the other staff. Weekly one on one is just to give you his tasks, no professional development discussed. Very messy security architecture. To get access to certain basic systems it takes forever. Terrible experience. If you have a successful career in security and want to get it ruined, then join Sentral. If you are new to security and want to get sick and leave the industry, then join Sentral. Glassdoor doesn't allow me to post without at least a star. Otherwise, I would not give that star either.

Pros

Some supportive colleagues and they are working on being diverse and inclusive.

Cons

The workload can be difficult and unrealistic, with KPIs that are hard to achieve. Decisions about work priority sometimes seem based on whim as opposed to any actual thought or analysis. The onboarding/training is not sufficient for the work required. New starters are mostly left to figure things out on their own. Management and HR show limited empathy, and employee wellbeing doesn’t feel like a priority. Decisions about progression and opportunities often seem based on who you know rather than performance.

Pros

Enjoy the flexibility of working from home twice a week, a convenient office location close to the train station, and the opportunity to collaborate with some great colleagues.

Cons

It took significant time and effort to rebuild customer confidence and demonstrate the value Sentral could deliver, but unfortunately, perceptions are now slipping back to how they were years ago, with customers increasingly dissatisfied and leaving.
