Pros

The company structure is stable and organized according to clear rules, and the work schedule and shifts are predictable. The initial employment contract and baseline terms of employment are respected, which provides a certain financial security and day-to-day predictability for someone who just wants to do their job.

Cons

The leadership culture on the ILP floor relies heavily on creating factions rather than fostering a healthy workplace. Instead of handling personal grievances and disagreements privately, toxic leaders routinely recruit an "army" of employees and rally others to "join their case." This splits the workforce into internal factions and enforces an unfair system where promotions are strictly driven by brown-nosing or personal connections.

Pros

Health insurance is better than most. Office positions' compensation are competitive. One week paid vacation earned quicker than other companies.

Cons

Speaking for Louisville, CO site: Production supervisors and leads tend to talk down to operators. No growth opportunities even though tuition reimbursement is offered. No recognition for job well done--ever. Louisville sight can't seem to get out of the 20th century. Boys club! Old policies! Old manufacturing equipment breaks drown or causes issues. Don't take the job without a full tour! Clear separation between the production folks and the office folks with animosity between them. For office staff job offers, if the offer is too good to be true, it is. No vision insurance, poor dental insurance. Production had mandatory OT almost every single Saturday. Management doesn't listen to anyone but management. They will interrupt you, roll their eyes, walk away, or dismiss what you just said.
