Pros

Read the reviews. This company is a shell of what it once was. This company used to be THE BEST place to work for. I was genuinely happy to share with others the positives of this company and how I’d recommend it to anyone. I will say most of the people I worked with were pleasant, and I’ve made some great relationships along the way.

Cons

This place has gone downhill fast. Expect long hours, especially during peak season, with little regard for sustainability. Leadership constantly changes direction, which creates confusion, wasted work, and frustration across teams. There’s no clear communication—employees are often left in the dark on major initiatives that directly impact their roles. Internal growth is extremely limited. Roles aren’t transparently shared, promotions are rare, and career progression feels more like luck than merit. Recent company decisions have made things worse. New offerings have been rolled out without a clear framework, and teams are expected to execute regardless of whether the product or process is actually ready. In some cases, products are pushed to clients even when they’re not a strong fit. Morale is low across the board. Turnover is handled poorly, with little transparency, which only adds to the uncertainty. It’s hard to ignore the feeling that employees are treated as expendable rather than valued. At this point, most people seem to be sticking around hoping things improve—but there’s little evidence to suggest that will happen anytime soon.

Pros

Excellent marketing of a culture that doesn’t actually exist

Cons

If you value your professional integrity, any sort of work life balance, trust, transparency or support as a working parent, look elsewhere. We advise clients on people first strategies and how to do things the right way and then consciously choose not to do right by our own people. The hypocrisy is insulting. Leadership is known to gaslight and will target people they don’t like. There is no psychological safety. The level of anxiety everyone has is concerning. There is no way people can do their best work when they’re constantly worrying about what rash decision the day will bring. The culture is all about “smile and nod". If you are competent enough to expose the lack of control leadership has, you are a threat and your role will be “eliminated.” We’ve lost some of the best leaders I have worked for and at this point, it has gone too far. You have no job security unless you’re committed to being a puppet for the C Suite. We are seemingly incapable of retaining a Head of People, probably because our practices are inexcusable to any qualified HR professional. Just look at our careers page, we avoid posting open roles to bypass pay transparency requirements. This place is actively sabotaging its own people. Until we start viewing the lack of (good) leadership retention as the emergency it is, we will continue to go downhill.
