I've never had my personal values align with a company like I have with SEI. - Anonymous employee Service Express Employee Review

Pros

Working for a company who values are aligned with your own makes all the difference and that is why I chose SEI as an employer. Almost 4 years later I have no regrets and have never been put in a place where I have had to compromise my values or beliefs. SEI is a growing, fast-paced, results oriented organization and therefore is not perfect, however at the end of the day it is an ethical company who places customer service and their people above all else. It's a relief to be able to tell others about SEI, knowing that we can actually back up and deliver on our promise to prospective customers and employees (which can be rare most places now a days).

Cons

SEI is not a company where most employees can get away with just doing what's in their job description. Because of our growth, employees are often stretched and required to do more for a period of time until we hire or bring in the resources necessary. That's not the best job or environment for many people while some people thrive in it.

Pros

Some really good people who were considered friends. Had a great culture and a very organic growth mindset. Now being Park Place, they will have a very strong hold on the third party market which should increase margins for sellers. The support offerings have grown too which will allow for increased "stickiness" within each customer.

Cons

Certain events transpired that left the company, which was once great, reminiscing about the good ol days. This also may have caused a bit of a clash between the two cultures, and daily expectations, quotas, metrics, etc., merging into one (merely speculation).
