Pros

Insurance benefits are bad but there's a good profit sharing program.

Cons

There's racism and lots of financial problems that are being covered up. Moral is terrible. Anytime there's a bad review on here management is "persuaded" to write good ones to push the bad one down so you can't trust the good reviews even though there are good things. The owner is a nice guy but he's been fooled by the guy he put in charge who's so worried about covering up his mistakes that he promotes the people who cause the worst problems. We're suppose to focus on all these company values that no one in management follows. Our clients use to like us but they don't anymore and that makes our jobs hard.

Pros

People were always friendly there.

Cons

There are no cons at Service Group, maybe traffic. But just be early and you'll be on time.

Pros

Service Group is owned by a local family, and I always felt that they really care about their employees and the impact their business has on the community. In the past the tenure was many years for a lot of the employees. Unfortunately in recent years there have been some wide-reaching rounds of lay-offs, which is unnerving but sometimes needed. The company provides perks that build goodwill like providing monthly massages, a small on-site gym, and matching donations to charitable organizations.

Cons

The office location is terrible for dealing with traffic. It's difficult to get out just to pick up fast food for lunch and be back in less than the 45-minute lunch break. Also, even employees who are not customer facing are required to be in at 8:00 am, which is the worst time for traffic. The general work atmosphere can vary dramatically between departments depending on the rules and leadership approach used by each manager.
