Pros

Learn a lot Lots of parties Bonuses and benefite are good (Base salary is low, but lots of free money comes by if you do a good job.) You get out what you put in Fun coworkers Engaging technology Lots of quality training (1-2 times a week, and Richard is a great teacher) If you're hungry to learn a lot of stuff, Servpac is a great place to do that. However, if you're not this type of person you will probably burn out fast.

Cons

Long work hours sometimes Long commute to Mililani Balancing tickets and projects can be overwhelming High turnover, so lots of people need to be trained often If you're looking for good work life balance, Servpac may not be for you. The engineers that do well are typically people who are fascinated with the tech.

Pros

Servpac is quite brave, and is constantly growing. Servpac is capable of making new development that other companies might be too apprehensive to move forward with. We set up a huge data center a couple years ago in Mililani, but we're in the process of building another huge data center from scratch right now. Servpac currently does service for phone, network, cloud, datacenter colocation, msp. Whenever a new service was added, I thought it was a brave decision, but they all turned out great. It's a company that I can trust to do well. Proceeding with new deployment is fast paced, and Engineers need to stay up to date with the new techonology. But engineers with passion for the technology will love working at Servpac. Since technology is constantly growing, there's tons of room for individual growth.

Cons

There's constant development. If there is no passion for the technology, it might be a bummer when the things you learned become obsolete. example 1: you learned copper internet deployment, but everything is fiber, several years later. example 2: you learned how to use Firewalls for vendor A, but stop using that vendor
