Pros
Some Amazing, Mission Driven Individuals. Truly want to do a good job and support schools
Cons
Closed minded and out of touch. People that were really making a difference either left or were pushed out. It's reflective of the broad issues. The "Network team" creates curriculum that is unwieldy. Expectations for "internalizing" content are hihgly overblown. Too many members of the team were pulled in from schools where they were not doing a good job with student management or teacher support, yet they are now network leaders and making policy. Nepotism and favoritism are heavy at the highest levels. Individuals that are related at the top The team does not want to hear that they are out of touch and diminish you if suggestions are made The "retreats" and events for the network team are a huge waste of funds
