Pros

The only pros I can think of was engineering team all of them where very smart knew what they where doing.

Cons

This company is not doing well anymore the only best thing about the company was engineering team and after firing around 9 people mostly in tech team, ceo says they are re arranging the team structure lol. Things got really bad since start of 2018. Please drop your plans to work here. all the Glassdoor reviews are fake written by so called marketing team(they sometimes even make product decisions btw :p)

Pros

1) The Technology! Sfara is the brainchild of an ex-Mercedes Benz Physicist, who teamed up with a ex. Verizon Telematics guru, to execute a product from their vision of embedding safety technology into a Mobile App. Sfara's secret sauce is its Data Science, which is embedded in their App as a suite of Sensor Analysis algorithms, and surfaced to the UI by an SDK. The SDK along with the Sensor Analysis Library is packaged not just in their Apps but also sold as a product offering to Mercedes. 2) The Fun! you will likely participate in interesting exercises - like taking out a Zipcar and taking the App for a test-drive to calibrate it, or strapping the mobile device (with App installed) on to a dummy and pushing the poor dummy down a flight of stairs. It's a real blast and an amazing learning experience. If you are a mobile app enthusiast just wait until you peek inside the SDK. Your head will be swimming with the sheer brilliance of the work. I have worked on DARPA style projects and this is definitely in that league or better.

Cons

You have to listen to Frank Sinatra whenever you pass the lobby of the building (as it's in Hoboken) although this torture ends as soon as you enter the elevator (Sfara is on the fifth floor) You also may get too addicted to this work, talk about it all the time, and bore your friends.
