Pros
Teamwork, usually positive environment, flexible, non micro managing, helping patients, interesting learning environment, hybrid work from home options, decently nice and approachable management
Cons
Lots of turnover. Average pay but not enough financial growth or flexibility to stay long term. Tedious demands from management that often don’t make sense or serve a valid function. Company will rarely tell the real reasons- but will always come up with varying rationales that clearly are not the true reasons for their actions or requests, conflict with things previous said, and lead to staff frustration and distrust. Company success is not reflected in bonuses or salaries though they constantly pride themselves on growth- staff would like to see some of that reward. Options for professional growth exist but would mean an enormous workload jump for minimal pay jump. It does not seem like retention is a big priority. They often do not accommodate requests of longtime strong team players—it seems they would rather replace the person if they don’t like the accommodation request, even if the request seems reasonable and workable. Often feels like we are viewed as replaceable cogs.
