Nice place to work - Casual Auction Assistant Shapiro Auctions Employee Review

Great team of people, supportive, understanding and flexible management, friendly & fun culture, exposure to and participation in every aspect of an auction house, diversity in projects, good training and development opportunities.

No cons I can think of at the moment.

I'm currently working at Shapiro Auctions and was quite surprised to read the previous review. I have now been here for 8 months and have always felt that I had the support of all of my coworkers and President. They are just as invested in me as I am in the company. One huge bonus is that I have been able to participate in all aspects of an auction house from photography to even cataloguing my own sale.

Some may think you have more responsibilities and may have to put in more time when working for a smaller company, but I have taken it as an opportunity to have great experiences and opportunity to acquire new skill sets that I would not if working for a larger auction house.
