Pros

There is plenty of opportunity to grow your knowledge and skills here. The higher-ups here are "working managers" - they are just as deep in the trenches as the rest of the employees, and it makes for a great environment. It's fast-paced, friendly and rewarding in every sense. Great parent company (BCBST) gives us stability/support, excellent benefits. I never get that Sunday night dread that I have to go to work the next day. You can't put a price tag on that.

Cons

It's a start-up environment, which isn't for everyone, especially if you need a lot of 1:1 time with your manager. The folks that succeed here are good at finding things that need to be done, then doing them. If you like having a set routine day, this may not be a fit - I haven't worked the same day twice here.

Pros

Great people doing good work for members who needed a lot of help. It just isn't a good time to be in Health Insurance. This company falls under the BlueCross BlueShield of TN umbrella and won't exist after 2025.

Cons

Long-term viability. You won't retire from here unless you get absorbed by BCBST
