Pros
- Co-workers are nice and easy to work with
Cons
- Many, many projects 200 + in various stages of completion that have built up over time with no resolution, or a roadmap to properly get them completed. - Has no processes or construction standards for civil work??!! - No training available at all. - Supervisor is very hands off; only gives vague directions, likes to talk about his manager and co-workers behind their backs, has no planning experience or project management experience, so is unable to truly understand how to create a roadmap for the department. - Supervisor asks for constructive criticism, but when he receives it, treats it as an attack on his character. - No room to move around the company, if you want to transfer because the department is toxic, the supervisors will try to block your move by contacting the department you want to transfer to. - The hardest part of the job was that you are expected to jump in with no training, or direction and make national, and department wide change. - The company has great benefits but unfortunately this department set up the PMs for failure.
