Pros
The people are generally very personable, which makes sense for a customer facing job. Very flexible schedules, can easily work around a busy extra-curricular life.
Cons
Pay isn't great, but it makes for a good first job. Sometimes managers let their "power" go to their head. Definitely feels like you were working for a huge company and not just a corner store.
