Pros
1. Regardless of your job/position within the Organization, everyone has the ability to engage with patients and their families. In fact, everyone is strongly encouraged to interact with patients/families. 2. I am a non-clinician, but I feel as though I make a difference to our patients/families due to the interaction described above. 3. In a variety of ways, Shepherd Center is extremely supportive of its employees having fun and interacting with one another, whether that's the Annual Field Day or a simple ice cream social in our marvelous cafeteria. 4. Senior Management, and especially the President/CEO, make a concerted effort to remain engaged with ALL employees. When constructive criticism is offered up, action items are created and then action is taken when practically feasible. 5. Every single day at Shepherd Center is a great day.
Cons
The only con that I can identify is that I didn't start working here sooner....no kidding folks, this is a dream job.
