Pros
Somewhat less pressure than other call centers due to the fact that there aren't any sales goals.
Cons
Very low priority on proper training, recruiting and investment into employees. The average pay is lower than many other similar jobs in the area, the physical work environment is terrible - 70's era work space, homemade cubicles - from the 70's with carpeted walls. Equipment breaks down frequently, computers and computer system is outdated, slow and the IT department either isn't allowed to spend the money to upgrade/fix or they don't know how. Very negative attitude all around - the supervisors have no supervisor training and are frustrated because the employees didn't get properly trained either - nor do they have ongoing training. The turnover rate is extremely high.
