Pros

Easy to schedule around things you need to do out of work. You don't need to be a rocket-scientist to do well. Slow in the winter, so there is time to job search.

Cons

Poor pay unless you are in a profitable store. Management is apathetic to plight of those lower than a Store Manager. Poor communication, everything remains a secret until the last minute and when you are told something, there is no time to adjust. Inept senior management holdovers from the takeovers of Duron and MAB.

Pros

Leadership training, flexible schedule if your store has the necessary staffing, 401k match

Cons

If you don't have staffing then you are required to work weekends consistently, Sales calls requirements keep getting higher and higher, incompetent corporate leadership. Pay is based on 44 hours worked weekly for assistants(48 for Store managers; leaves room for less work/life balance
