Pros
There's the opportunity to have a good working relationship with others there, however concerns or complaints can be overlooked and blatantly not actioned even if brought to upper management in good faith.
Quarterly bonuses were given but unsure of the basis on which you'd be eligible and it was very hush hush to even ask because not everyone in the department/office would receive since it was merit based I think. Most I received per bonus was $300.
Company had outings fairly often and a yearly company-wide party. If you love to drink, be Shipco's guest. Has a beer fridge that they'd open once a week at the end of the day for the last hour.
Decent benefits and management was flexible for the most part about the required hybrid in office/WFH schedule.
Cons
Felt micromanaged and under constant scrutiny, felt singled out fairly often by direct management.
Didn't feel like pay was exactly fair. Male coworker hired on at a higher salary despite less industry experience.
