Pros
RIC has an unsurpassed culture from the top down. Dr. Smith is as passionate about this place and its patients as she is about her own family. Her love runs deep. And she essentially grew up here, from residency to her role as CEO. She’s created an inclusive, family-like culture.
Cons
The current hospital is dated and limiting on a number of dimensions. Our new hospital, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, can’t open soon enough.
