Pros

The CEO is super involved with the company and you will most likely see her once a month. Birthday and Anniversary celebrations for all employees ; however, they were thinking about stopping this because they think their workers are unappreciative (not true). Room for growth (although you most likely wouldn't want to move up).

Cons

Low wages and cheap with raises. They stopped doing reviews for their employees which means no raises unless you move up in the company. Management is almost non-existent. The company is always short staffed because employees are constantly quitting. Most Estheticians come from a South Asia where the cultural traditions are very strong and its hard for them to convert to American traditions which causes plenty of cultural clashes between estheticians and front desk employees. Unhealthy work environment because of constant arguing. Front desk employees are fairly young, 18-22, while estheticians are older, 30-60 years in age, so the age difference causes constant clashes and arguments. Management absolutely dors not appreciate their employees.

Pros

No pros really. There’s a reason they can’t keep such a simple position filled

Cons

Three rounds of interviews for a job that pays $18 an hour is insane. They move you to a different location almost every day, no consistency. The salon staff are extremely rude and condescending and constantly harass you for clients even though there is a rotation. They will talk bad about a client to you while the client is in front of your face. They ask you to ask the clients for tips on their behalf and expect you to serve them. Management is uptight and lie about earning commission.
