Pros

Because of the relatively small size of the company, it's easy to communicate directly with the C-levels; often, they even listen. The benefits are quite decent, pay is fair, and office is beautiful.

Cons

The company operates in an extremely dishonest manner (including directing employees to leave positive Glassdoor reviews every time someone leaves a poor review). This "review scheming" is rampant in all parts of the company, with most of the company's positive PR bought from overseas (Facebook reviews, etc). In fact, it's actually quite rare for them to land a repeat sale because of their keep-the-money-at-all-costs attitude. That dishonesty affects employees, too. Not only can they not always trust the information they're being given (especially when it comes to promises about advancement potential), but it can also be demoralizing to participate in screwing your customers over every day. The way the company is run is actually kind of spastic and unstrategic, with very little data-driven decision-making. The company leadership likes to think of these day-to-day directional shifts as "quick-moving" or "agile", but they're really just indicative of a total lack of understanding of the market. (In fact, leaders in the company have expressed that gathering expansive data on customers is "a waste of time", and it's not until sales start to drop off that they start to pay attention.) It's common for startups to describe their challenges as "growing pains". These aren't growing pains, these are disorganization pains. As an employee of Shofur, I didn't last long at the company before I became disengaged as a result of the toxic, unethical culture that made me feel like I was walking into a den of snakes each day.

Pros

Drive and hustle. The culture here at Shofur is both thrilling and challenging in the best of ways. No nonsense. Business minded. Sales focused. Technology driven. Every individual is a valued team member and contributor to this success machine. No foosball tables. No nap rooms. Just a highly-motivated group of over-achievers who have each other's backs. Atlanta culture with a NewYork mindset. Want a place to park or cruise? keep looking. Want a place to learn and grow or kick bus and take names? Congrats You just found your home. Opportunity doesn't knock here. It stares you in the face every day you walk in the door. Hop on board and enjoy the ride! There are few companies on the planet like Shofur.

Cons

Growing so fast, it can feel like a whirlwind some days. Some predictable growing pains occasionally but they are corrected swiftly.

Pros

I've driven for other companies in many different capacities, and I've never been treated with as much respect, courtesy and kindness as I have working for Shofur. They are great with rewarding consistent, hard work, and I always feel that my efforts to please my employer and our customers are recognized. Management is positive and enthusiastic. I am never nervous to speak with them or to check in with them. Their expectations are high, but it is not difficult to meet them. They recognize when they have quality drivers and work hard to make sure that they are happy. Feedback that I have given has been thoughtfully considered and has been quite helpful to me with my employment with Shofur. I never feel like I have to deal with issues on my own.

Cons

Unlike some other companies I've driven for, there hasn't been a single issue or conflict that hasn't been dealt with professionally and gracefully by management.
