Great potential but disappointing results - Anonymous employee Shopcade Employee Review

- Bagels, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and snacks delivered weekly from Ocado. - The people who have moved on from working here usually tend to do quite well for themselves in terms of next company, salary increase, and overall package.

- Bar a select few, the constant hiring of interns means the Editorial and Commericial teams are unable to elevate the overall standard of their work due to to compromising on quality. The time spent managing and teaching some interns basic skills such as how to send a package at the post office is exasperating. Management continues to make poor recruitment choices to save money. - Some permanent staff were also fairly incompetent; for example, one team member knew how to configure something in CMS and had been doing a particular task for over a year but one day, suddenly said they "forgot" how to do it. This was literally a one-click task... Keep in mind that these are very small examples contributing to large problems causing everyday discontent and frustration.

Great opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of the launch of two marketplaces on the French, UK and US markets. Ability to evolve rapidly among the marketplace team and develop projects. This experience was a very enriching one that helped me grow and develop my knowledge of eCommerce. The role was pluri-displinary and involved being in touch with many stakeholders. The management showed great support since I have joined Shopcade and have always been really attentive to new ideas and improvements should it be in terms of work environment or launching new projects or features to increase our efficiency and well-being.

Nothing specific to mention here. Overall I really enjoyed being at Shopcade and learnt a lot along the past years!
