The leadership team is immature and inexperienced. Conflicts arise and there is nothing that is done to mitigate them. Some on the leadership team are unapproachable which makes for a hostile work environment when you are unsure what mood you are going to get from them on a certain day. It also sets a precedent that others in the company can be treated poorly if that treatment is coming down directly from the leadership team. Pay is low compared to industry and bonuses barely exist. The benefits are really bad and the company hasn’t updated them even after having employees fill out multiple feedback surveys in relation to them A pro is unlimited vacation but a con is your time off usually isn’t respected and are required to still be working on your vacations. Any time you want to take a personal day off you are questioned as to why and what you are doing. The work environment is quite toxic. Managers will no show when you have important meetings scheduled and certain teams are favoured more than others. The company only care about making a profit and doesn’t care about their employee wellbeing. Because of this, there is a high rate of turnover. Any one who is promising and good is usually gone within a few months to a year because they can see right through them. They have 0 plans in place to work on employee retention and they try to guilt you with “loyalty” speeches. The company goals are consistently shifting and unrealistic deadlines create a hostile working environment since most teams are stressed out. The culture is routinely confused with the “perks” that the company offers. Your culture is not a chef that cooks meals, a gym allowance, or games at the office. They believe that if you aren’t in the office for 12 hours that you are not being productive. Any of the good reviews on here were made through HR programs to “boost” the glass door rating that the company had had.
