The starting pay needs to be increased. Pay to retain good help

Excellent employees that don't get treated equally, a quiet atmosphere minus the small-town drama, and good food but too expensive. Worked there for almost 2 years without any issues until I started asking for more money and hours.

Management does not care about their employees; they are all older generation people who hoard job security by hiring young, naive high schoolers and making the experienced, hardworking employees quit because they won't fire you for fear of having to pay your unemployment. They will cut your hours down to basically nothing and walk all over you. Management will make you do their job while they are gossiping and walking around pretending to file paperwork or decorate the store, just wasting time and wages while the younger kids do all the heavy lifting and hard work. They also won't hire minorities or handicapped people.
