Pros
The organization is doing great work, and has some excellent perks for Staff. It is a nice environment to work in, with a central location downtown. I learned a lot and was able to do a variety of tasks which kept my work interesting. The leadership team and my colleagues were generally friendly and easy to work with.
Cons
There are no significant pay raises year-over-year. The Hospital budget seems to be getting tighter and tighter every year. When you lose a Staff member they are often not replaced and the workload continues to get heavier and heavier. There is no pay-for-performance system in place, so high performers are often over taxed while under-achievers are allowed to coast. The Hospital brought in vaccine mandates which I personally do not agree with.
